Calista Virtual Desktop is a software solution which enables businesses to deliver the full Windows Aero user experience of a centralized Windows Vista host remotely to users on a standard thin client or an existing PC - simply using a standard RDP connection. When deployed over regular LAN/MAN networks, and with any off-the-shelf Windows Vista compatible application, Calista Virtual Desktop provides a near local-like experience of Windows Vista and media-rich applications to an unmodified thin client over any standard RDP connection; thus, Calista Virtual Desktop preserves the benefits of executing both the OS and any multimedia applications in the data center where data security and manageability of the desktop environment can easily be managed.
